Windows 10: Mic doesn’t work

I recently built my PC. It’s specs are as follows:AMD Ryzen 5 7600MSI Pro B650-P Wi-Fi MSI RX 7600EVGA G5 850Samsung Evo Pro 970 2tb gen 3 nvmeWD Black 500gb gen 4 nvme bootKingston Fury 32gb ddr5Sound comes through the headphones. Mic is detected though no sound is detected out of the mic.Have tested the headsets on both my Xbox Series X and my old Dell Inspiron 5676. Mic works on both of those but doesn’t on my newly built PC. I bought a new headset and it’s the same. I’ve tried everything that I can find online as far as “fixes” and nothing works. I’d appreciate any help

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

My headphones microphone doesn´t work

I recently updated my Asus laptop to windows 10 and noticed that my microphone doesn´t work anymore. Before it was working well and after the update it started using my laptops own mic and in settings i cant change input to anything

 

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
