    Mic is too loud when set to 100 in windows audio settings


    Hello there, I have a weird issue with my audio settings, it started after I downloaded and played CoD: Black Ops II from Steam, my friends in discord noticed my sound went very loud, so I lowerd my mic volume to 45 so they can hear me normally, then I did this to fix the issue:System Restore Point to before the game was installed.Re-Installed Realtek HD Audio Drivers Re-Installed RODECaster Duo and RODE ASIO DriversWindows TroubleshooterNothing changed.My Audio Setup:RODECaster DuoShure SM7BI wish I could put a sample for what happens if I set it to 100 but it will blow your ears it exceeds

    Sound card amplification settings

    Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

    just got a new blue snowball ice mic boost not there low audio

    So what the heck is going on nobody can hear me with this mic on windows 10 i put it on windows 7 machine and wala loud audio and people can hear me, i put it back on windows 10 and low audio despite the audio level set at 100 %, but know boost for it at all, so how do i get this mic to sound like it does on windows 7 loud with the slider only at 50% on windows 7. i don't know what to do how do i fix this the snowball is a USB mic and its brand new and works on windows 7 fine, but not 10, anyone have a clue how to boost my audio so i can use this mic on windows 10.
