Windows 10: Mic isn't picking up

Last night I was playing games with friends and my mic all of a sudden stopped working in discord. I tried restarting my laptop and I think my system also updated during that time, but the issue was not solved. To test my mic I have tried online resources and the audio recorder, but my mic still isn't picking up. I have since checked my inputs were correct and the mic is picking up in there. I have also checked my app permissions and everything is allowed. I have checked and my drivers are up to date. I have disabled and reenabled my device in device manager. I have tried uninstalling device

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

The issue could be because of the internal mic picking up sound even when the external device is pluuged in. If you have the RealTek HD Audi Manager installed on the machine, I would suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works for
you.

• Open RealTek HD Audio Manager and go to the
  Advanced tab.
  
• Check the boxes Separate all input jacks as independent input devices
  and Mute the internal output device, when external headphone is plugged in,
  and hit OK.
  
• Exit RealTek HD Audio Manager, restart the machine and see if the issue persists.

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
