    Mic not detected after 1803 build update in windows 10


    Hi guys help pls latest build 1803 has messed up my audio,my internal and external mic not getting detected getting random audio issues and also having games crash to desktop randomly ( some random processes are spiking high disk usages sometimes). Please give us a fix ,I have also deleted the backup so anyway to revert back?

    Mic. Stopped working after update Windows 1803 on 1st May. 2018.

    Hi,

    Nothing happened. Still Mic. Not Working.

    I did all guided by Microsoft but nothing happened.

    Now am working without Mic. I understand Problem is with Win. 10 1803.

    Hi again,

    I managed to fix it,

    • Hit Windows key and search for "microphone privacy settings"
    • Hit "Allow access to the microphone on this device"
    • Switch "Allow apps to access your microphone" to on
