    ^was working perfectly fine for about a year until todayworks on my laptop but not on my pc-tried unplugging and repluging-tried running additional troubleshooter-tried disabling and enabling the mic in sound control panel but it says its not plugged in-tried updating my driverRealtek audio driver-tried updating my driver on device manageranymore suggestions?

    Headphones not showing up in the input devices

    Everytime I plug in my headphones the audio sounds fine but it does not record sound. I've tried using the same headphones with my phone and it works fine. When it does record sound its using the mic next to the camera because my headphones just does not
    show up in the input devices list.

    NO INPUT DEVICES FOUND mic after Windows 11 upgrade

    Hello,

    I have an ASUS Vivobook 15 Windows 11 laptop. I have an internal mic for day-to-day stuff and an external USB Blue mic for making videos.

    My internal mic has worked ever since I've had this laptop. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and now my internal mic doesn't appear. in SYSTEM --> SOUND. I see NO INPUT DEVICES FOUND.

    When I load up my screen recording software and try to record a video, nothing shows up. However, when I plug in my external mic, the internal mic then shows up in the list as well as the external mic. Very odd.

    For the time being, I can use my external mic for everything but it's a PITA. I can't say for sure that this was caused by Windows 11 but that is about the time it happened.

    Any guidance is appreciated!

    Can't isolate line audio from mic input; audio driver not showing.

    I'm new to Win 10. I want to use Audacity to record streaming audio. My new (used) Toshiba Satellite laptop came with a Conexant Smart Audio HD driver, also new to me. I find that I can't mute the mic without muting all audio input to Audacity. I've tried installing Realtek HD which I've used before, but it fails to show up in Device Manager or in Recording Devices. Volume Mixer shows no Mic channel, but it's audibly present in the audio stream in Audacity.

    I might not have the correct Audacity settings either, but I'm confused. How should I set up my audio device?
