Windows 10: Mic not working in Phone Link While Calling

"Links to Windows Clip app" Not accessing or requesting microphone access on iPhone device. However, I am not able to see which particular App Clip is accessing my microphone. Because of that Phone link app microphone is not working while calling.

Headphone mic not working with laptop 3.5mm port

I have sennheiser hd4.40 wireless headphone. I also got a cable with headphone having 2.5mm pin(attached to headphone) to 3.5mm pin(attached to mobile phone).

Problem is that when i connect 3.5mm pin to my mobile phone headphone jack, in call i am able to use mic and headphone both at same time but:

1. When i connect the 3.5mm pin to 3.5mm jack for mic on my laptop, i am not able to use the mic.(my laptop has separate 3.5mm mic and 3.5mm headphone jack)
   
2. When i connect to 3.5mm jack for headphone, only headphone is working with laptop not mic.
   

Please do not suggest why I am not using Bluetooth because it is a separate problem.

I am missing something or maybe this may be limitation or something else. Help me on this. :-(

 

Using Phone Link to make calls with PC headphones & Mic

I am struggling to get Phone Link on windows 11 to utilise the headset I use for my PC as the speaker and Mic for calls made/received in Phone Link.

All my drivers are up to date, I am using Astro A50s which work for all other aspects of mic/sound (these are wired to base, 2.4ghz wireless, so not bluetooth headset) and a Samsung Galaxy S21.

Sometimes when I receive a call, the phone notes that it is using the PC for bluetooth output, and I can hear the the audio, but the mic doesnt seem to work.

Would love for this to be resolved so I dont need to change headsets everytime I want to go from Zoom call to phone call.

Mic not working in Phone Link. Any suggestions?

Added extermal mic, which showed immediately in Input devices list, then set for comms default as above - no joy. All I get is echo from my PC speakers - nothing transmitted to the called phone. Waste of time.
