Windows 10: mic not working

Discus and support mic not working in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; my windows 10 pc isnt detecting any mics if i put it in the mic slot it just dose not do anything but the mic is working on my Android phone if tried...     my windows 10 pc isnt detecting any mics if i put it in the mic slot it just dose not do anything but the mic is working on my Android phone if tried updaing an reinstalling drivers and even tried myltiple mics without any success please help if possible
