Windows 10: Mic picking up very little audio

A few days ago I bought a mic to record a video and it's getting a really low audio. So I tried to fix something but it won't work. I'm checking the audio drivers and it doesn't show any problem and the audio bar sound is not getting up. What to do?

The issue could be because of the internal mic picking up sound even when the external device is pluuged in. If you have the RealTek HD Audi Manager installed on the machine, I would suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works for
you.

• Open RealTek HD Audio Manager and go to the
  Advanced tab.
  
• Check the boxes Separate all input jacks as independent input devices
  and Mute the internal output device, when external headphone is plugged in,
  and hit OK.
  
• Exit RealTek HD Audio Manager, restart the machine and see if the issue persists.

My Mic is picking up Desktop Audio.

Recently I downloaded a Soundboard app, After I got tired of it and deleted it a problem started and my Mic is picking up Desktop Audio like the Soundboard where if I played a sound my Mic will pick it up and play it. The "Listen to this device" is Unchecked.

There is no more realtek hd audio manager.

Reinstall the lenovo audio driver, then run microsoft store.

New computers come with realtek audio console which is downloaded from microsoft store. I have no idea whether lenovo has their own audio configuration app --- HP has HP audio app, Dell has Dell audio app.

Just go through the list of all the apps in your computer and you should find your laptop's audio configuration app.

Plug in your headset, then either the app will pop up asking you what device you just plug in --- and you tell it that it is a headset. Or go to the app itself and tell it that it is the headset.

3.5mm headset mic is not a separate item, so you will find realtek mic array as the only item as your posted screenshot. Lightly tap your headset mic and you should see the signal meter jump.
