Mic recording volume very low, high pitched whining

I bought a Neewer NW-800 mic and was using it on this computer for a while. I bought a new HD and installed Win 10 Pro version 1909 on the drive and the mic wasn't working properly. There was a high pitched whining sound that wasn't there before and my voice volume became very low and barely audible over the whining. I looked into my old drive and saw that there was a third party program that was used to manage the audio, HD VDeck, so I found it and installed it and it worked great, fixed all the recording problems and gave great quality. Well, I tried to open it today and nothing happened. Just a spinning circle and nothing opened. I completely uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and the same exact thing happened won't open, and any recordings are back to the whining sound and low volume. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the audio drivers, nothing fixed it. I'm at a loss of what I should do. Windows is fully updated and all drivers in device manager show as being the best option.

    :)

  2. High pitched squeeking when mic is unmuted?

    It's called feedback.

Turn the MIC volume slider in the windows recording settings all the way down to 0 but DON'T mute the MIC in windows.

Then turn the MIC ON (Un-mute the MIC) on the controller on the cable, and slowly slide the MIC volume slider UP in the windows recording settings until you can hear input from the MIC, but not so high as it begins to squeal again.

If that does not work - try covering the MIC with your hand whilst it is making the squealing noise - if this does change the pitch/tone/volume of the squealing then you are still getting feedback , if the pitch/tone/volume of the squeal remains constant even when covering the MIC with your hand - you may have a broken MIC/MIC Cable/MIC Connectors.

Google chrome cause low volume high pitch whine/noise

Whenever I have no music on and its quiet I hear this high pitched noise but at a really low volume.. only loud enough to be heard really.. but the pitch is annoying.

I noticed this only happens whenever I open Google Chrome web browser.. If I close chrome the whine stops.. If I open Ixplore or any other app or program no such whine happens.

    Whats the deal?

How can a web broswer cause a high pitch to emit while any other program does not?

Wierd i know, does google use anything another ap might not?

EDIT: I just noticed that the Magnifier built into windows also causes this whenever the screen is enlarged, calculator, winrar, and wmp and other programs do not cause any noise.

High pitched squeeking when mic is unmuted?

Hello mate, many thanks for the reply.

I know what feedback is, but this is literally constant BEEEEEEEEEEEP when the microphone is plugged in, but non existent when muted. I tried what you said, slowly increasing the mic volume, but anything over 1 and you can hear the beep. So, i guess its a broken jack? Great, just got these from the missus for Xmas.
