Windows 10: Mic too quiet when plugged into xbox controller

My mic is way to quiet when plugged into my xbox controller. Ive checked the levels for the mic, check my headset and tried 2 different computers, so it has to be either the controller or the drivers. Any idea?

Windows 10! Xbox One Mic plugged into xbox one wired controller plugged to PC. Not picking voice.

I plugged my wired xbox one controller to my windows 10. It works but when i plug my mic into the controller that is still plugged into my pc, doesnt work. My voice doesnt pick up. Im using a Xbox one stereo Headset. My Mic plug for Pc doesn't work very
well.

I need help getting my mic to pick up my voice.

Using xbox 360 mic on PC

Just buy a wired xbox 360 controller and plug ur mic in. Keyboard and everything works fine. And its a great controller for sports and racing games
