Windows 10: Mice doesnt click for a while

I've been getting this problem for 4 days. I do not know if the mice is broken or the laptop. I tried unplugging the mice, restarting my laptop, uninstalling the mice drivers and plugging another mice into the laptop The other mices doesn't move at all . Nothing seems to work.But it can still move smoothly, it just that whenever I try clicking fast, it will randomly stop for a while then start clicking again. It's also like that when I click slowly I do not know what to do, please help me.

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.
