    Micorsoft HEIC to JPEG (non)Converter


    I paid the $1.99, downloaded and installed from the Microsoft App Store, the Microsoft HEIC converter. When I run it, it processes the first HEIC photo for about three seconds then the app just closes and goes away without finishing the conversion. Totally useless.

    Since Microsoft will not refund the wasted $1.99, will they be sending out a free upgrade and fix or will this just remain a useless app taking up space on my hard drive?

    Hi Edward,

    We need more information about your concern. Are you trying to convert and open other image format to HEIC? If yes, a certain program will be needed to open that kind of file, we suggest checking the Windows Store for programs that can convert other image
    format to HEIC. Make sure to download the program with the highest rating and good reviews.

    There is no inbuilt app that will open and convert HEIC to JPG. If you go to the Microsoft Store you can find apps such as iMazing HEIC Converter
