Windows 10: Micorsoft Wireless Desktop 5050 warranty

I purchased a Micorsoft Wireless Desktop 5050. Purchased July 2020... The keystrokes started to intermittently skip. Took it into the computer shop where it was purchased from. The trouble shot and determined keyboard defective. Micorsoft said I had to contact directly. Only the 1877-696-7786 number does not work and when I try to register the keyboard, as it is not a surface or x-box I can not register it and when I find a lind to start a claim it asks for the serial number, then tells me it is not registered. Super frustrated as now spent way to long trying to understand how to fill out a w

1. What is the exact issues in the Wireless 5050 keyboard?
   
2. Please elaborate some more information when you say “I have to hit backspace to stop my Wireless 5050 keyboard from operating like spacebar”?
   
3. Are you not able to wake up your computer by hitting backspace?

To resolve this concern, use the System File Checker tool
to repair damaged Windows files.To do this, follow the steps below:

• Open an elevated command prompt.
• Run the sfc /scannow command.
• Install the Wireless Comfort Desktop 5050 using this
