Windows 10: Micro freezing

Hi,I recently had a power outage which occurred while I had a game paused. After checking that my hardware was fine I ran some games. Now I have a pretty high end computer and on the games I am playing I have consistently above 165 fps, however, at very random times and I mean random I could be doing nothing and it will happen I get these micro freezes. These freezes are not consistent either I could go 20 minutes without one or 2 minutes and get one. Now I ran both a disk clean up and memory check and those did nothing. I've had task manager open to see if any apps were causing it in the back

Screen Freezing up

Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!
