    Microphone access gets automatically disabled by Microsoft privacy settings in windows 11


    I have a strange issue with microphone. when ever in Teams call the microphone gets automatically disabled . I then have to go to privacy settings and re enable access for Teams and desktop apps. However it gets disabled again after sometime. The microphone device is also disabled from Sound recording device .My windows specification is attached.Please suggest how to solve this issue.     Disable some privacy settings in Windows 10


    Howdy,
    I wanna disable some settings in the Windows 10 Settings.
    I just must disable them via registry.
    If anyone know one or some of registry keys for disabling the following items please let me know:

    Settings > Privacy ::

    Camera > Let apps use my camera
    Microphone > Let apps use my microphone
    Account info > Let apps access my name, picture and other account info
    Calendar > Let apps access my calendar
    Messaging > Let apps read or send messages (text or SMS)
    Radios > Let apps control radios
    Other devices > Let your apps automatically share and sync...
    Background apps > Let apps run in the background

    Just please don't discuss here about questioning why I wanna disable them just via registry or provide other suggestion to increase your post count!

    Camera and Microphone Privacy

    Hi Moustafa,

    This issue occurs due to permission issue, driver issue, license for an app is out of sync with the license installed on the computer or if the app is not updated. To give permission to Camera and Microphone app, you may follow
    these steps:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Select Privacy.
    • Look for Camera, make sure that “Let apps use my camera” is turned On. You may choose the apps that can use your camera as well.
    • Go back to Privacy and select Microphone, make sure that “Let apps use my microphone” is turned On. You may choose the apps that can use your microphone as well.
