Windows 10: Microphone access to voice commands on HL2

I am locking down a Hololens 2 with MS Intune. I need to deny access to the microphone for all apps other than my LOB custom app. I use the CSPs LetAppsAccessMicrophone: force deny policy and then whitelist my app using LetAppsAccessMicrophone_ForceAllowTheseApps. That works as expected, however with the side effect that the voice commands stop working due to missing access to the microphone. I guess I need to whitelist the voice commands engine as well, but I cannot identify the process resp. package family name. Any idea how to get the voice commands working again?

To set up Cortana to use for voice commands, follow these steps:

• Create or sign into your exisiting
  Microsoft account.
• On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Cortana.
• Follow the instructions shown on your phone.
  
  Note: To turn off Cortana, open Cortana > Menu > Settings > Turn off.

To open apps using voice commands, follow these steps:

• On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Cortana.
• Tap the microphone.
• Say "open" followed by the name of the application.
• Answer any clarifying questions from Cortana.

To use voice dialing to call a contact, follow these steps:

• On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Cortana.
• Tap the microphone.
• Say "call" followed by the name of the contact.
• Answer any clarifying questions from Cortana.

To write and send a text message (SMS) using voice commands, follow these steps:

• On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Cortana.
• Tap the microphone.
• Say "text message."
• Answer any clarifying questions from Cortana create and send message.

 

Cortana not hearing voice commands

1. Are you able to hear other sounds from your computer?

2. Does the microphone work with other apps such as Skype?

3. Have you tried using "Learn my voice" settings?

Kindly, follow these steps and check if that helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.

Method 2:

I suggest you to run the Recording Audio
troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Recording Audio.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.
