Windows 10: Microphone and speakers are silent with certain VoIP clients, but function properly with...

Got an interesting one here. Quite sure this is a Windows issue, because I cannot replicate the behavior on any other non-Windows device.The Problem:When performing calls on certain VoIP clients, the microphone and speakers are silent. The dial tone and all other system sounds are audible, but once the call is connected, its as if no microphone or speaker is connected to the PC. Specifically, I am trying to perform outbound calls in Google Voice and HubSpot, and both behave the same.What's most strange, is that I have absolutely zero audio issues when using any other meeting client. Left speaker not functioning properly.

Hi Friends,



I had visited Nokia Care Center five times, at the very first time left speaker was not functioning properly, they changed the speaker but phone was not packed properly. Today I facing speaker problem again as well as phone packing is loose.



Please suggest me whom to approach now because I am totally fed up of service provided by Nokia Care Center.

Lumia 930 microphone doesn't work on speaker

Hi, I have same issue on Lumia 930, have tried the various steps proposed by Microsoft, have also tried updating software to Windows 10 but to no avail. While a number of posts on this topic suggest it is likely to be a hardware bug, my symptoms seem to
indicate software:

• while using the phone normally (not on speaker) the microphones work perfectly. IE microphones 1 and 2 at the bottom of the phone appear to be working 100%
• while using the phone on speaker, microphones 1 and 2 (see Problem with Lumia 930 second microphone for good photos of microphone locations) seem to be completely off
• while using phone on speaker, microphones 3 and 4 at the top of the phone seem to work reasonably as long as I'm close to the phone. Not as well as they should on a speakerphone though.
• microphone on headset works fine

This does look to be a very widespread issue ... any updates from Microsoft?
