Microphone array is picking sound but changing the level

My mic is picking up sound but barely. If I go into sound from the control panel it barely picks up on the bar in the whole range on the right of it. The same happens in sound from the settings menu. To add to this if I listen to the device I can slightly hear my voice and then at what appears to be random intervals it will suddenly be loud as if its working.I have tried increasing gain and switching on and off enhancements but this doesn't seem to work. I reinstalled the audio drivers too but still no change. I have also tried the windows troubleshooter but this doesn't seem to help. Any reco

  2. Microphone Array missing, Microphone doesnot work

    1. The computer is a H-P IQ 524 Touchsmart All-In-One 22inch display

    2. All updates installed.

    3. Went to the above suggested web page. Have been there.

    4. Any suggestion as to enabling the microphone array; Speaker Icon > (Right Click) > Select (Recording Device) >opens window titled “Sound” > Select (Recording). Microphone Array not showing.

  3. Internal mic not picking any sound

I have installed windows 10. In recording devices, 3 devices are shown. Microphone line in, microphone array and rec playback.

Also there is only one unit of green bar level is displaying in front of microphone array.

    No change in the levels.

    Microphone Sound Level Changing

I'm trying to adjust my microphones volume level by setting the level manually then using and voice recorder program to hear how it sounds. My computer however is automatically changing the volume level to what it thinks it should be when I speak and it
is too high. How do I get it to stop doing that?
