Windows 10: Microphone Boost Reduced after Windows 11

When on Windows 10, all my mics had microphone boost from -20db to 40db, when I upgraded to Win 11, they're only -20db to 0db and way to quiet at max volume

I did all the steps listed, but as shown in the screenshot above there is no Microphone Boost slider to modify. And in the "Custom" tab the Microphone Boost box is check-marked so I have no idea why its not showing.

Hello so I am sorry to say this but this has not helped, I still dont have the option to reduce my microphone boost and I can open the speekers enhancemends but not for the microphone

Right click on volume>choose playback devices>choose speakers>click properties>Enhancements>add a tick to the disable enhancements box.

Enhancements is the 3rd tab along for me.

Open the Hardware and Sound setting. Open the Sound setting. Select the Recording tab and double-click your microphone you have selected as the default recording device. Click on the Level tab and reduce the Microphone Boost setting.
