Windows 10: Microphone calibration through troubleshoot wizard bringing up error

Hello, I just need some help with the microphone calibration tool in windows 10 as it just keeps on bringing up the error 0x80004003 in troubleshoot wizard, this hasn't happened before as I use the tool constantly to make sure my headset's microphone is connectedHere is a screenshot of the error screen any help would be appreciated!

Controller Calibration Wizard is BROKEN

Hello--

I need some help. I don't get along with computers and am just a step or two above tech-illiterate so please allow for my idiocy. Apologies in advance if I come off as a bit peeved; I've been mucking about with my controller and computer for almost three hours now.

My hard/software: Windows 10, Project64 emulator, retrobit 64 tribute controller (single joystick, essentially the old N64 controller).

Not the problem: My controller is showing up under devices like it should. It interacts with the emulator just fine, except for calibration being absolutely necessary. I can access and run the calibration wizard.

The Problem: When I run the calibration wizard, it never goes through the steps where I calibrate the X and Y axes. It jumps straight to the Z axis, which I don't have and it does not register whatsoever. I just need to calibrate my single joystick, but the calibration wizard on my computer does not provide the proper steps to do so.

With my luck I won't be surprised if this is a never-before-encountered, one-in-a-million chance, unfixable problem. But please, please tell me that it's a simple fix and that I am just an idiot. Thanks in advance, folks.

Windows Calibration Wizard will not open

I have a racing wheel that needed calibration, so I went to calibrate it in the Game Controller Properties, or the Calibration Wizard. However, to no avail, nothing opened and the Game Controllers Settings closed. All other properties for devices seem to
work (such as keyboard, sound, etc.) except for Controller, and PC Game Controller, both of which would redirect you to the Calibration Wizard. The calibration wizard has previously worked on my computer. I've tried with and without the wheel's drivers installed.
I am running Windows version 1903. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Microphone not working with my desktop

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things.

• What is the make and model of the computer?
• Have you installed all the pending Windows updates?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run the Troubleshoot Hardware and Devices.

Hardware troubleshooter reviews, diagnose and identifies operational or technical problems within a hardware device.

• Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.
  
• Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: to determine whether the issue is related to microphone, I suggest you to connect the microphone to different computer and also connect the different microphone to your computer, check whether the issue persist
or not.
