Windows 10: Microphone doesn't work on initial start up, why do I have to reset my computer to get my...

Hello there!


Every time I do a 'cold start' first start up of the day, Windows 10 does not recognize my microphone. It does recognize my sound card and that my default device as the microphone. But, Windows fails to detect any sound going into my microphone until I do a restart on my computer. After I restart my computer, my microphone appears and works normally. This happens every day upon initial start up without fail. I am looking to fix this because it is tedious to continuously restart my computer every time I turn it on and I worry if the constant restarts could be damaging other components on my system.


I have tried unplugging and plugging back in the microphone into my computer, and this does not resolve the problem. I have also ensured all drivers are up-to-date as well as the software for the sound card and microphone itself. I am contact with Sound Blaster, but have yet to find a solution.

My microphone and ear-phone doesn`t work. Please help me, I have windows 7 home basic, my computer reproduces a sound, but devices no.

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

My headphones microphone doesn´t work

I recently updated my Asus laptop to windows 10 and noticed that my microphone doesn´t work anymore. Before it was working well and after the update it started using my laptops own mic and in settings i cant change input to anything
