Windows 10: Microphone doesn't work

    Microphone doesn't work


    I bought an HP laptop and then suddenly found out that my partner couldn't hear me. I installed all the drivers from HP's website but nothing helped. I allowed my mic to every program in privacy settings. Then I checked my sound devices and in "Record" instead of "Microphone" there was something called "Microphone Array". I deleted all sound drivers in "Device Manager" and after rebooting "Microphone" appears. But it didn't respond to my voice according to its bar. So after that windows automaticly installed drivers again and now there is "Microphone Array" again. I thought that my mic just broke but then I saw in Xbox menu that one that opens with Win + G that my mic is blocked by my confidential settings. But they always were turned "On"! I checked privacy settings in a regestry and everything is allowed there. So maybe my mic is working but it's somehow blocked by a bug in privacy settings? HP didn't answer to me so maybe guys at Microsoft will help. Thanks.

    P.S. System — OS Windows 10 2004 19041.610 + HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1031ur AMD Ryzen 5 4600H + NVIDIA GTX 1650 + 8Gb DDR4 3200MHz + 512 NVMe SSD

    Microphone doesn`t work

    My microphone and ear-phone doesn`t work. Please help me, I have windows 7 home basic, my computer reproduces a sound, but devices no.

    My headphones microphone doesn´t work

    I recently updated my Asus laptop to windows 10 and noticed that my microphone doesn´t work anymore. Before it was working well and after the update it started using my laptops own mic and in settings i cant change input to anything

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
