Windows 10: microphone in slow motion

Hi,


I updated my windows 10 in recent weeks, and now I am having a problem with my microphone. Whenever I speak on the microphone the listener listens to the voice in slow motion. but my computer says that my microphone is working properly which means the problem must be in the software.


I saw many people complaining about same thing. please help us with this.

Microphone is playing back in slow motion

All of the sudden today my microphone is playing back in slow motion. I can no longer join Zoom meetings because of the distortion. I have looked at all settings and I cannot get it to work correctly. Please help.

• Did you want slow motion option in the phone?

If you want phone with slow motion option, you may want to speak to the store if they can exchange with the one that has. Unfortunately, there is no app that can serve the purpose as slow motion option is internal phone option by the manufacturer.

Microphone is playing back in slow motion

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately, your suggestions did not fix the problem. The troubleshooter indicated no issues and the drivers are up-to-date.

I am using the built in mic, Conexant ISST. I did not change anything. I was on a meeting early in the day and it was fine. A couple hours later I went back on a Zoom meeting and the playback from my mic was in slow motion. I am at a loss.
