Windows 10: Microphone input problem in chrome windows

When I reseted my laptop, for some reason my inputs were still working on windows but when I tried to call on discord or chrome, my mic won’t catch my voice although I have them enabled and in the Correct input. And I have the properties allowed but it still not working. Is there any way to fix this?

chrome dosen't show up in microphone settings

I can't get Chrome to access my microphone. Chrome is for some reason missing from the microphone privacy settings, resulting in that it can't use microphone inputs in google meet. Is there any way to manually add chrome to the list of apps that can access
the microphone?

 

Chrome not existent in microphone permissions

I have a microphone hooked up to my computer, and every "Allow _ to access the microphone" is enabled including unknown applications. Google Chrome does not appear in the list, and it is the only application being denied for permissions. Is there a way
to force Windows to add Chrome to the unknown application list and give it permission to use the microphone?

Let's ensure that your microphone is set as the Default Communication Device and that
Listen to this device is not enabled. Follow these steps:

Set as the Default Communication Device

1. Right-click the Sound icon on the system tray and click Recording devices.
2. Select your microphone and set it as the Default Communication Device.
3. Click Apply, then OK.

Ensure that Listen to this device is not enabled.

1. Right-click the Sound icon on the system tray and click Recording devices.
2. Right-click your microphone and click Properties.
3. Click the Listen tab, then uncheck Listen to this device.
4. Click Apply, then OK.

If the issue persists, then I suggest that you update its driver. Follow these steps:

1. Right-click the Windows key and select Device Manager.
2. Expand the Audio inputs and outputs category.
3. Right-click your microphone and select Update Driver.
4. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
