Windows 10: Microphone is not working. Shouldn't have updated to the latest version.

So before I had updated to Windows 10 ver. 2004, everything was working impeccably. But when I did, the microphone had stopped working, and even with me doing all possible solutions, none had worked.

These are the lists of what I had tried:

Deleting the audio driver and restarting my pc.

Checking for updates and troubleshooting.

Going to the sound settings and adjusting the level.

Going to settings and checking if my mic was turned on and if it was toggled for the apps that I intend to use it on,

And etc.

I did everything I could but none had worked, to no avail. Has anyone faced the same problem as me? And if you did, were you able to fix it? Mind sharing how exactly?

I am in dire need of a fix since meetings are prevalent nowadays with school approaching and I'm not able to use my laptop for that cause due to the issue with the mic.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Microphone not working on Windows 10 Version 1803

In addition to

• Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone (left column)
  
• Make sure "Microphone access for this device is on"
  
• And switch "Allow access to the microphone on this device" to on
  

as Ermish's suggested, I had to

• disable and enable one of my microphones for the changes to apply apply.
  

Then all my microphones worked again.

• What type of upgrade are you referring to, is it a system upgrade or an update?
  
• What is the complete model number of the tablet?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter.
