Windows 10: Microphone isnt working on Windows 10

Hello, im having problems with a External Microphone 3.5mm jackWhen i connect the microphone to my PC, it appears normally on the device manager and the "Recording" tab in audio settings, However when i say something it just doesnt work, its silent, i've also tried it with my Android Phone and it works correctly, any ideas why is that happening?I've already tried- Updating my Audio Drivers- Using a Adapter- Reinstalling the Mic in Device Manager- Re enabling it in the privacy settingsand many other things that people say, nothing works.And yes, the mic is plugged in correctlyAlso one more th

Since I installed windows 10 my microphone is not working. I tried ALL the steps that you suggested in other threads and the microphone still doesn't work! Please find urgently a solution!

The issue could be because of the microphone being in a disabled state. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works:

• Open Control Panel and categorize to view by
  Small Icons.
  
• Click on Speech Recognition and navigate to
  Advanced Speech Options > Microphone > Advanced
  
• Check Real Conexant HD Audio, save the changes and exit
  Control Panel.
  
• Restart the machine to see if the microphone works.
