Windows 10: Microphone Issue - Windows 10 and Installed Apps

Hello there!Windows 10 and its' installed apps can't seem to detect my audio, even if the microphone icon is visible. I also tried it to some games like Fortnite, Phasmophobia, and still the same. However, the problem isn't occurring ONLY in Google Chrome, as it's working and can detect my microphone's. I'm using a jack headset. Is there something wrong with my Windows 10? I've tried anything in the internet, but no luck. In order to use it to Windows' installed apps, I need to use a bluetooth earbuds. It's hassle for me because I prefer wired than bluetooth. It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

There very simple and i've already tried them. The problem that i face is that the software (this app) does not find any updates for me .
Many people across the world have this issues .So you need the proxy etc thing to get it to work.

 

Microphone issues

Here are the possible reasons why you're getting an error "The microphone did not pick anything up" when using it:

• Incorrect settings (microphone is not set as default device)
  
• Corrupted or outdated driver
  
• Faulty device
  

For us to isolate the issue, we'd like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue(e.g. Windows updates)?
  
• Have you tried connecting other microphone to your computer?
  
• Have you tried connecting the microphone to the other computer?
