    microphone keeps resetting to 100%


    Hi, I keep Having this problem where my mic keeps on resetting to 100% every time I turn on my laptop I completely shut it off every night and idk why it's happening. I am using the Realtek audio console to manage my microphone and it keeps resetting it to 100 volume and it's too loud.

    To understand the issue better, let me know what is the make and model of the computer?

    This issue could have occurred due to incorrect microphone settings or corrupt
    microphone drivers.

    I suggest you to try the steps suggested by Wasim A on August 18, 2015
    and check if it helps.

    Hi Bill,

    Your concern with the microphone on your device can be due to the configuration of your device and/or broken system files. To better understand your concern, we'd like to know the following:

    • The last changes made on your device prior to your concern.
    • If you're experiencing your concern on any app that utilize the microphone.
    • The version and build of Windows 10 that you're using on your device. To check this, you can perform the steps posted on this

    In the meantime, we'd recommend checking the Microphone section under Settings to see if your apps are configured to use the Microphone. To do this, you can perform the following:

    • Search and launch Settings using Cortana.
    • Locate and click on Privacy.
    • Click on Microphone.

    speedfan keep resetting fans to 100%

    i just installed speedfan 4.38 and change my cpu fan from 100% to 70% (2800rpm to 2100rpm). But it keeps reset back to 100% after i restart. I tried have the "automatic fan speed" enable but still no help...

    speed01: 100% default
    speed02: 70% changed from 100%
    speed03: 100% default
    speed04: 49% default
