Windows 10: Microphone lowering volume

Well I had some glitches going to update 1909 so I had to reset the computer. Everythings good now except for my microphone.

I was talking to some friends in discord and they were telling me that my voice kept lowering until they wouldn't hear me anymore. We all had this 'glitch' before and we knew how to fix this. So I went into the microphone properties and I taken the ''Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device'' which was the cause to this.

The thing is ... my voice keeps lowering and lowering until it gets cut off, after cutting off my voice gets back to normal until it starts lowering again.

Can someone tell me what's causing this? My drivers are up to date and my microphone is allowed to any application too.

How to raise microphone volume?

I suggest you check your microphone gain level. To do it, try the steps mentioned below:

Right click on Speaker icon (Volume settings) on the Taskbar

Choose Recording Devices

Click on Microphone and open the Properties

Finally, move the slider to choose the level. It will raise the Microphone and Microphone Boost option.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

Method 1: I suggest you to set microphone as default device and check.

  Right click on the volume icon in the system tray and then click "Recording devices"
  
• 
  Right click on the blank space in the popped up window and then select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".
  
• 
  Right click on Microphone and then click "Enable".
  
• 
  Highlight the microphone and then choose "Set as Default Device".
  
• 
  Click Apply and OK.
  

Step 2: Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled.

  Now, Right Click on an empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.

And also update the audio drivers from the manufacturer web site and install.

When Cortana is listening to my voice it lowers my microphone volume.

How can I stop her from lowering my microphone volume? It is very annoying for skype and stuff.
