Can't be heard through webcam microphone

I plugged in a new USB webcam but can't be heard through microphone. How do I fix?

Hello all, this is a bit unusual situation and i searched everywhere without success.
Microphone is connected properly, no matter what plugs i use this issue happens (front connectors, back connectors, connectors on a logitech keyboard, other microphones with jack connection, usb microphones, etc)
apps such as discord or the game fortnite, even windows settings, detect the microphone being activated when speaking as it was getting voice input, but no matter what setting i change, including the privacy settings to choose which apps use the microphone, it just doesnt transmit any sound and people cant hear me at all.
I am obviously missing a windows setting or something simple to solve, but at the moment i think i tried any solution i could find by searching the net and no success so far. It was working without issues before, don't recall installing any new software or making any update on win10, it just suddenly stopped being heard by other people.
And before people start making jokes about "other people muted you", i tested this with my partner and neither of us can figure out the solution.
So, resuming...... doesn't matter if jack plug microphone (tested 3 different ones) or usb microphone, if front, rear or keyboard jack connectors, windows and other communication software shows activity when speaking into microphones, but it doesn't transmit any audio at all and can't be heard on the other end of the connection.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

Method 1: I suggest you to set microphone as default device and check.

• 
  Right click on the volume icon in the system tray and then click "Recording devices"
  
• 
  Right click on the blank space in the popped up window and then select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".
  
• 
  Right click on Microphone and then click "Enable".
  
• 
  Highlight the microphone and then choose "Set as Default Device".
  
• 
  Click Apply and OK.
  

Step 2: Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled.

  Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled. Follow the steps given to check that:
  
• 
  Right click on the volume icon and select “Recording devices”.
  
• 
  Now, Right Click on an empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.
  
• 
  Make sure that the Microphone is not disabled.
  

And also update the audio drivers from the manufacturer web site and install.
