Windows 10: Microphone not recognizing voice to text extension

Hello, it's me again, back to the same issue. But this time it's a little bit worse, you see. last time I brought up a problem where extra being wouldn't pick up my voice, originally it was just certain downloaded Voice to Text extensions and websites not picking up my voice but now it kind of gotten worse with stuff like downloaded voice type extensions on the Microsoft Web Store not working and even the dedicated voice to type [removed_js] not working so it's a problem Maybe on your end I tried everything I could on my end I also want to bring up that the voice type functions work completely

Voice Typing (voice to text) Giving me a strange message

Hi Greg,

I appreciate the reply with all the suggested links. Unfortunately, none of them seem to address my problem. The problem is not with the microphone, the Microphone works great and is turned on for use in all apps. My problem is that Windows 11 voice typing does not seem to recognize that my cursor is in a text box at all. So it won't activate the microphone. It just gives me the message that I posted above, that I need to find a textbox to use the tool. Again, my system is fully updated and I've employed all the suggestions that have to do with the microphone, security, language settings, and troubleshooting. Any other ideas?

voice command will not recognize "text"

I have the LG Quantum Windows Phone. It is supposed to do voice commands such as voice to call, voice to text, and voice to find. Each Time I try voice to text, hands free, it does not recognixe "text" and it does a search online for "text" and the contact
name I say. I can use call to text without a problem, and can also use the find command, but text does not work. How can I get my phone to recognize the text command.

I understand that you are unable to use Speech to Text option in Word document on your computer. I’ll help you with this.



However, please let us know:

• Are you able to use the Speech Recognition feature in any other application such as notepad or WordPad?
  
• Are you using an external microphone or an internal microphone? If you are using an external microphone, what is make and model of the microphone?
  
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

If you are unable to use the Speech Recognition feature in any other application, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the section

Use voice recognition in Windows 10 to configure Speech Recognition.
