Windows 10: Microphone not working, input volume at 0

    Microphone not working, input volume at 0


    I didn't notice the issue until I tried to use Zoom. I have been trying to fix this for hours and I've tried all the fixes suggested online, including checking that drivers are updated. I disable and reenabled the intel smart sound tech for my microphone, uninstalled and reinstalled realtek audio. I'm not terribly computer savvy but I'm trying my best. Whenever I try to change the input volume for my mic, it instantly resets to 0. Not sure what else to try at this point. I'm running Windows 11 24H2 if that matters. I'd really love to be able to stop using my phone for Zoom meetings.

    Microphone input registering as 0% volume

    I have the same issue with my JBL headset.

    When connected to my phone, the speakers and microphone works perfect.

    When connected to my pc, the speakers work, but not the microphone. Drivers are up to date, volume is set to where it should be, but when testing the microphone, I get a 0% volume return.

    I'm having the same exact issue. Headset speakers work as they should, but when I go to test the microphone input it says 0%. Even tried an actual 3.5mm jack microphone and it does the same exact problem....Not sure what it is...

    me too, using a micro usb microphone and the input always forced to 0%.
    Ii contacted the brand and they said "It's windows 11 problem."
