Windows 10: MICROPHONE NOT WORKING ON STEELSERIES HEADSET WINDOWS 10

Hello.I have just built a new pc and my steelseries headset does not seem to work.Key Information: - my headset is plugged into the monitor pixio px277 not the actual pc. when i plug into the pc i cannot hear any audio.- in sound settings i am given the option of sonic studio virtual mixer for my mic and nothing else this mixer came as default with my motherboard i believe???- If i do go to the sound control panel and choose a different option, for recording, there are 4 realtek audio options, one of which is titled as "line in" and the others just titled "microphone"- when i go to device

Steelseries siberia v.2 microphone isn't working. (Windows 10)

Hi, I own a Steelseries siberia v.2 headset (2 3.5mm jacks), and after I updated to windows 10, the microphone stopped working. I found a couple of fixes for older OSs but none of them seemed to work.

If you have a possible solution, please do respond.

SteelSeries Siberia V2 Full Size Headset with Microphone - White (PC): DON MCLEAN: Amazon.co.uk: PC Video Games it's this one, it's not available on their website anymore. It does not have a USB connection of any sorts, just 2 separated jacks (1 for mic, 1 for headphones).

 

Bluetooth Headset Microphones Don't work with Windows 10

I cannot get any bluetooth headset microphone to work with Windows 10. I have tried three different bluetooth headsets, most recently a Corsair Gaming H2100. I have no problem getting the audio output to work just fine with any of them, but I cannot get
it to recognize the microphone. I have followed all of the obvious steps:

• Uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version of the drivers
• Restart my computer
• Disable other microphones
• Set the headset as the default recording device
• Check the levels and set to 100
• Remove the device with the device manager and reinstall
• Unplug and plug back in my bluetooth antenna
• Make sure that Windows is totally updated

None of these steps has made any difference. I am able to get wired microphones to work, but this isn't ideal with my current set-up, as I sit about 10 feet away from my computer and use my 55" television as my monitor. So, I have a really nice webcam that
I use as a microphone. It is fine, but I would really like to be able to use a bluetooth headset sometimes and not have to talk loudly to a microphone across the room.
