Windows 10: Microphone on Sony WH 1000 XM4 stopped working on Windows 11

I've been using a Sony WH 1000 XM4 with Windows 10 and after the upgrade Windows 11 without problem for approx. 2 years now. Both for output and inpupt.Recently, something broke. Maybe one of the latest upgrades. Symptoms:Output still working fine.Input via XM4 no longer working. I don't get any input via that device whatsoever. Tried via https://mictests.com/ reports "Apparently, your microphone is being used or blocked by another application. To start your microphone, you must temporarily close that application."Windows Sound Recorder app says "No audio input source available".Trouble

If you still have this problem after reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, I suggest you try pairing your SONY headphones with other devices (not just your Iphone 11).

If the sound is great when paired with other devices, but only your Lenovo laptop has this problem, I suspect that the headset device may not be compatible with your Lenovo laptop. Maybe you can contact the after-sales support of Lenovo and SONY for more help.

Bluetooth audio stuttering and lagging

So I have the same issue at my end.
I have Sony WH-1000 XM4 and it has audio stuttering and lagging.

I found the actual reason for this:

I have 3 Bluetooth devices connected with my PC.

1) Logitech Keyboard 380
2) HP Bluetooth Mouse 700
3) Sony WH-1000 XM4

Now whenever all 3 are connected, I get audio stuttering and lagging. But when I connect my mouse with Wireless Dongle and only 2 devices are connected audio works fine.

I don't think any of the below solutions will work. It has to do something with more devices connected with the system via Bluetooth. Seems like windows can only communicate with 2 Bluetooth devices at a time.

Hi, I have a brand new Sony headphones but unfortunately found out they stutter when playing Youtube videos on Windows. The stutter happens each 10-20 second and is very slight, but rather annoying and noticable.
I follow instructions in this thread but without success. I'm actually not sure what to download from the laptop's manufacturer site. My model is Lenovo Ideapad 700-15isk.

The sound is perfect when using my iPhone 11 to do the same.
