Windows 10: Microphone Recommendation

Discus and support Microphone Recommendation in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I want to try Cortana. What microphone would you recommend?     I want to try Cortana.
    What microphone would you recommend?

    I'm not going to do anything more than talk to Cortana.

    Something USB?
    Easy to place, say on top of my monitor?

    Recommended Microphones that work well with Cortana

    I understand using Hey Cortana works only as great as the microphone you are using. Microsoft is recommending a "good" microphone.

    Can anyone recommend some good quality desktop microphones that are working well with Cortana

    and the "hey Cortana" feature?

    Recommended Microphones that work well with Cortana

    It wasn't the fact I was having problems, I was just interested in what others were using for a microphone that worked well with Cortana.

    I have been using a Blue Snowball ICE for the last couple days with great results, in case anyone is interested.

    Hey Cortana works well from even across on the other side of the room.
