Windows 10: Microphone resets to zero constantly.

So, I have been having trouble with my input device, when I try to change it it changes instantly back to zero and I dont know what to do, and by that I mean I dont even know what to try, all I could think of is to reset my device multiple times which didnt work, so if I can get any advices it'll be highly appreciated. Also this started to happen after an update if that has anything to do with this.
