Windows 10: Microphone Says Not Plugged In After Updating Audio Driver

I Have a Lenovo Thinkpad X240 which uses Realtek Audio Driver i use Windows 10 ProI bought a new headset Zebronics Jet Proa few days ago i downgraded from windows 11 to windows 10 due to performance issues and i installed the latest realtek audio driver from lenovo's webstite : https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x240/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Audio&id=3AA7F1C4-5B2A-453C-9CE2-B8FCDA8B69BA after installing it the microphone in the control panel sound tab disappeared i tried uninstalling the driver which made it

:)

 

Rear audio ports always show as “Not plugged in”


I've been having this issue with Windows for about a week now which NONE of the back panel/front panel connectors (speakers, microphone) are being recognized by Realtek audio manager. The only audio input/outputs that are showing are the optical.
Troubling shooting steps I've tried (none worked):

• COMPLETELY uninstall all Realtek drivers/reinstall
  
• Tried using windows drivers
  
• Reinstall Windows 10
  
• Upgraded chipset driver
  
• sfc /scannow

I called EVGA and asked for RMA but then I booted into a Ubuntu OS and all the ports work FINE. It must be a problem with windows 10.
Can you think of any other troubling shooting step I can try to fix this annoying issue? Thanks!

After looking in Device Manager under Audio inputs and outputs, I don't see any speaker/microphone listings, only the optical crap:

 

SF-666 condenser microphone

My system does not recognize the SF-666 condenser microphone. The only place I have to plug it into is the headphones port/audio jack. When I plug it in is says 'You just plugged a device into the audio jack', but it does not recognize it as an external
microphone. I have followed all the steps provided in this community like ensuring that the drivers are up to date etc, but still nothing is working. Any other suggestions? Is it a Windows 10 issue?

use that but for audio I have to listen through the tv everything I plugged in
