Windows 10: Microphone stops working after unplugging earphones.

My mic works, and my earphones' mic also works. But when I unplug my earphones during a call, the mic stops functioning both the laptop's and the earphones' even after plugging it back in. When I open the "Sound settings" to make sure the microphone is enabled, it is indeed functioning and recording voice the green bar for testing the mic is moving but the person on the other side of the Call can't hear me. And the only way for my friend to hear me again is for me to call once again. Is there a way to fix this issue? Thank you.

Earphones with built-in mic are working but microphone isn't


I have sennheiser mm30i earphones, and they have a built in microphone.
Whenever I plug them in, everything is fine and the sound is good, but when I try to speak in games, Skype, etc, then the microphone isn't working.
I have Realtek HD Audio Drivers installed. I tried playing around with the configuration, but with no success.

Headphone, earphone and microphone are not in Sound Control Panel.

Windows 10 64 bit








Stereo mix and line & mic at front or rear panel don't work too.

I somehow managed to get my headphone to play the same thing as my speaker at the same time but that's as far as i got.

 

Microphone suddenly stopped working

My microphone is still not working. I even checked the BIOS as someone had suggested but there is no listing for the microphone in there.
