  1. Microphone trouble

Recently I have been having a problem where my mic is so faint unless i put it right up to my mouth and shout. I have tried trouble shooting it, updating drivers and even updating to a newer version of windows. It works perfectly fine on my friends laptop but just not mine. The issue only started occurring yesterday after about 8 months of my mic working. I did try another headset on it but there was no difference. The sound still works perfectly fine out of them just the microphone doesn't work properly.

    :)
