Windows 10: Microphone very quiet on windows 11

HelloMy mic after a test picks up only 0%-2% I have my mic at 40% and even at 100% it picks up the same amountI have all of my drivers updated, i tried unplugging and plugging in, tried turning off and on my pc, nothing worksThe laptop i'm using is Dell with windows 11, sometime microphone works normally and sometimes notThe mic works normally on my other old laptop that uses windows 10, it even works normally while plugged to my xbox controller while i play on xbox, the problem only occurs on windows 11 laptop

Hi, i recently upgraded to windows 11 at first everything was working properly but now all my microphone devices are really quiet. I updated all drivers and boosted the volume to max but its still quiet. does anybody know how to fix this

Hi, i tried it bit it still didn't work even when i completely reset windows 11. My friends also have this issue with a quiet microphone so maybe its a windows 11 big

If you've already adjusted the volume and boost for your microphone and it's still too quiet, it could be a driver issue.

I'd recommend reinstalling the microphone drivers through Device Manager. Here are the steps:

- Press Windows Key+X and choose Device Manager.

- Find your microphone in the list.

- Right-click it and choose Update Driver.

- If that doesn't work, try uninstalling it and then scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver.

If it's still too quiet, test to see if the same problem occurs on another PC if you have one available.
