Discus and support Microphone volume auto adjust in certain programs in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Before you say anything: No it is NOT "allow programs to take exclusive control of this device".     Microphone volume auto adjust in certain programs


    Before you say anything: No it is NOT "allow programs to take exclusive control of this device". That has never been enabled on my PC and never will. Literally every time i try to search for an answer to this they all say that. Now that that's out of the way:



    Every time i am in a microsoft teams call and unmute my microphone, the mic automatically adjusts to a lower volume. Every time i launch CS:GO the mic ALWAYS goes to 20. I have it at 73 normally.

    What do i do? I want to lock it at 73 with only me being able to change the volume when i want to, not any other program.

    Microphone Volume Won't Stop Auto Adjusting

    I have a Neewer 7000 USB PnP microphone. I want to adjust the volume of it but when I do and start talking again it auto adjusts to 100. I do not want this to happen because it picks up my keyboard clicks and makes the quality bad and really loud. I have
    uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. I have disabled applications to take control of it. I cannot get it to stop auto adjusting. All I want is it to be locked at a specific volume and not automatically go up.

    Problem with microphone adjust.


    When iam using microphone and speaking the volume of the microphone being lower.
    1.I've removed auto-adjust from skype.
    2.I have the latest version of realtek audio.
    3.I have the latest driver version of my microphone.
    4.Selected "Do nothing" at "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Sound".
    5.And also this

    still auto adjusting the microphone and no one can hear me good.
    How can i unadjust the microphone?

    Okay, so I am having a problem with my microphone auto adjusting no matter what I have tried.

    It's getting really difficult to deal with at this point and I'm not sure how to get it to stop. It's affecting me every time I want to talk to someone on Discord or on the other online games I play. I just want the microphone recording setting to be set
    at 70, but it I'm not certain how to lock it in place, or know if you even can do that.
