Windows 10: Microphone Volume Extremely Low on PC Realtek, Wired Gaming Headset – Works Fine on MacBook

Hi everyone,I’ve been having a frustrating mic issue on my Windows 11 desktop. Got this PC around two-three months ago, input has never worked well for some reason. I’m using an ASUS ROG Strix G13 and have tried multiple headsets:My usual Realtek wired headsetBeats headphones with built-in micBluetooth earbuds with micAll of them work perfectly on my MacBook—the mic sounds clear and loud when voice recording or chatting with friends. Low Wired Headset Volume on HTC Trophy

Im having very low Wired Headset Volume on my HTC Trophy. The speaker and bluetooth volumes are all fine. Ive also tried differnt wired headsets. Even at level 30, Im unable to hear anything on an airplane. Is there a way to correct this? Increase the
default setting somehow?

I have the same issue. Did you try with a bluetooth device ? Or a hard reset ?

• How have you connected the headphones to your device?
• Have you tried to set the headphones as a default device and check?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system that might have resulted in this?

As a work around, try the below and update us the status of this issue:

• I suggest you to connect the headphones to different device and check if the microphone is working fine. This will help us to detect if the issue is with headphone.
• If headphones are working fine on other devices, try to connect the headphones to different ports on the PC in the question and check if it is working fine. This will help us to know if the issue is with ports.
