Microsoft 1632 All-in-One Media Keyboard Connection Problem

Hi there, wish you a great week!

I have a little problem about my keyboard.

About a year ago, my friend gave me a 1632 keyboard and dongle and as i am using a gaming keyboard, i have never used that before.

Today I have tried to connect it on a computer i have just builded, it did not worked.

My dongle is original Microsoft dongle but I think he gave the wrong dongle by mistake as he has exactly the same keyboard.

I cant get in touch with him, seems he changed his phone and he is at a different state for university now.

This keyboard is about 60usd here, i really don't want this to be a garbage.

    What should i do now?

    :)

  4. Microsoft 1632 All-in-One Media Keyboard Connection Problem

    Receiving Error 1632 messages

    Hi Stephen,

The error 1632 may arise if there's a corrupted file in the temp folder that's conflicting with the update process. As an initial step to rule out your concern, we suggest that you clear the temp folder. To do this, here are the steps:

    • Press the Windows + R key to open the run command window.
    • Type %temp% in the search box and press OK.
    • Press the CTRL + A key to select all files.
    • Click the Del key or right-click, then select Delete.

In addition, you may want to disable your firewall settings before updating your applications. You can follow the steps provided on this

    link
on how to disable firewall. Once you're done, enable your firewall settings again and check if the issue persists.

Let us know should you need further assistance.
