Windows 10: microsoft 4k wireless display adapter connection problems when changing from source computer

Hi, I have purchased two microsoft 4k wireless display adapter to run tests for my company. We want to connect these to the beamers in our conference rooms. I have noticed that when you start up the beamer, the first attempt to connect to this device always works windows-K; but then when you push 'disconnect' and want to connect again can be with the same laptop, can also be with another laptop there is no connection possible. If we then disconnect this display adapter usb port for some like 10 seconds and switch it back on, the connection does work again. What could be the cause of

Issue with connecting Dual monitor with Wireless Display Adapter

I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when things do not work as they should. However, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

1. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
2. What is the model of the TV?
   

This issue can occur if there is pending firmware update or the issue with the drivers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and let us know about the results:

Windows Wireless Display Adapter-not connecting anymore

Hello Phillip,

Did you notice any changes on your PC prior to the issue? I suggest that you follow the steps outlined in this support article:
Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

Since updating drivers did not work, in addition, you can try to reset the Wireless Adapter.

1. On the adapter, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
2. When the message " Ready to connect "shows, open the
   Action Center.
3. Select Connect, and in the list of displays, select
   Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.
