    I had my HP desktop set up in the store where I purchased it from in the UK The Microsoft and OneDrive accounts have always come up as registered to a complete stranger with a Russian email address. Consequently I have never used my One Drive and do not have PIN for the Microsoft account. Can anyone shed any light on:Why a new PC would be registered to someone else?How can I change this?How do I find / change the PIN?Initially I did contact the store, they just said it couldn't of happened when it was with them, offering no advise or solution.     register PC with microsoft; use local account to log in

    Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
    Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

    Just go back to using a local account:
    Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

    Hopefully the tutorials are step by step enough.

    How do I register my PC with my Microsoft account?
    But when I'm done, I'd like to use my local account each time to log in.
    Please tell me how to do that.
    I am very new at Win 10, and need step by step instructions.
