Windows 10: Microsoft account mail

Unable to access my hotmail address or my hotmail using an alias since the win10 update wiped out my computers. My alias and original password work but no email. My original address no longer exists but if I try to re-register I am told it is in use. One of my computers has Outlook frozen. I contacted MS Win 10 support about all issues with this update and was told time was of the essence and my email MS Account would be retrieved within 1-2 days and gave me a case number - that was 5 days ago. Can someone in the community advise me of where to go from here?

Linking external e mail accounts to the Mail tile in Window's 10

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to delete and existing account that is added in Mail Tile App.

• Open the Mail Tile App.
• Click on the Gear icon in the left bottom corner.
• Select “Accounts” from the list.
• Select the Account which needs to be deleted and click on “Delete”.

Undo Built-in Administrator Account tied to a Microsoft Account

Hello @Converseallstar95,

Could it be that the built-in Administrator may just be signed in to the Store app with the Microsoft account?

If so, then you could reset the "Microsoft Store" app back to default to see if that may remove the association.

If not, then check to see if it may be listed using step 3 in Option Two below, and can be removed.

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
