Windows 10: Microsoft Account not showing Windows 10 Licence

I had a notebook with local users and a copy of Windows 10 Pro activated. So I decided change the local user into a Microsoft Account to link my license with my MSA.
On the device it's allright, now teh activitaion tab shows "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account". But my MSA doesn't list this device in devices list. I have other devices activated that are listed, but not this one.
Anyone know what's happening? Why my device is not listed in MSA?

Accidentally Deleted Linked Windows 10 Device

I wanted to install Windows 10 on a new laptop. My Windows 10 licence is linked to my Microsoft account and I thought I needed to remove the device in order to use the licence on a new device. As a result, I removed the old device both from my Microsoft
account and my Microsoft Store account. Now when I attempted to activate Windows 10 on the new device, it told me no licence was linked to my Microsoft account. I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 and was therefore not provided with a product key. I
wonder whether there is any way to recover my Windows 10 licence?

Creators update enforces login.live.com?

This is a bit of a shot in the dark but does Settings, Updates, Activation show that you are activated ...

• with a digital licence

or

• with a digital licence linked to your Microsoft Account?

If it is linked to your Microsoft Account then perhaps that is the reason you need to be signed in for updates.
