Windows 10: Microsoft Account Password Incorrect Even After Reseet

Hello Everyone,I factory reset my phone last night and went through the process of installing all the apps back which I previously had. I came to installing the authenticator app, entered my password, which I know was correct, however the app was stating that it was incorrect. I then logged out of Outlook on my computer and then attempted to log back in using my password, which is stored though Chrome / Google passwords, to which I was also told the password there was incorrect. I then chose the option to use Windows Hello, the method I've been able to log in and post this, to auth myself into

Like I said in the post before, I did not set up two-step verification. After the hard reset, when the account did not sync due to 'incorrect password', I tried to set it up and then accessed the MS Account with the app password but it still declared the
password incorrect. I immediately turned off two-step.

Go check your Microsoft Account security settings to see if two step authentication is enabled on the account. If so, that's the reason your password doesn't work on the phone...you need to create an app password for the phone.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
