  1. Microsoft Account Problem We Need to Fix Your Account - Here is an Answer That Worked for Me

I have been experiencing this Microsoft Account Problem message for a long time just like many of you. And, I have tried many of the solutions proposed by individuals and technical experts on numerous posts and message boards that did not resolve anything for me. But, I finally found the answer to why I was getting the messages on my system and I would like to share that answer with anyone who is reading this post.

I run a very strong VPN all the time on my system. And, that VPN has a firewall kill switch that shuts off my internet service when the VPN is not fully connected to the VPN servers. When I first boot up my system in the morning or I wake it up after it has been asleep, there is a short period of time between my VPN starting and then getting a good secure connection to the VPN server.

The Microsoft account verification process must be trying to interact with the Microsoft servers about the same time as my VPN is trying to establish a complete connection. If that happens during the short period of time seconds when my VPN firewall automatically cuts in and has my internet service turned off until I get a good connection to the VPN server, I will get the Microsoft Account Problem message even thought there really isn’t a problem.

If I don’t run my VPN, I don’t get the Microsoft Account Problem message at first boot or when I wake my system up. So, that confirms to me that my situation is due to my VPN connection process.

I hope this sheds some light on what might be causing some of you to spend many hours trying to resolve a similar situation.

    :)

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Microsoft Account Problem We Need to Fix Your Account - Here is an Answer That Worked for Me :(

    Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
