  1. Microsoft Account Security shows my "current session" from an IP and browser I don't use...

Initially I got this message while trying to access my Outlook email: "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again." So thinking I should go ahead and check in on my account security I also decided to update some information on my account. In doing so, I went to check my MS Account login activity and saw that my "current session" was from an IP address that is not mine and from a browser I don't use. This doesn't make sense being my

will FF lockwise work from my laptop. Have IP, don,t carry or use it.

Not alongside passwords but you can save secure notes containing that information.

If you install the extension in Firefox on all machines you just need the one master password to login and access all passwords.

There's also a portable app that you can download or run from USB to access your data. Requires email confirmation on first use:

Here's that app with the note I just saved.

App is here but needs a Lastpass account set up via browser extension in order to import data.

  3. Activity page shows successful logins with wrong IP

Hi Rob, I am very grateful for your reply. The wrong IP starts with 2607:……… I do not know how to find information about IPs. It is on the first line on my activity page, with: 1 minute ago, Device/platform [Windows], Browser/app [Microsoft Edge],
IP address [2607:………]. Account alias [my correct account alias], Session activity [Successful sign-in], This is your current session. The second line has my correct IP. After the second line, it is random, but either my IP or the wrong IP 2607:…... With best

unusual activity from the same IP

Earlier today I received a mail that there was unusual activity on my microsoft account. I logged and checked the activity page. It should the unusual activity login as well as the current details of the login I just did to check this activity. Both had
the same IP. I double checked on another site and my IP was indeed that same IP.

On the unusual activity session the following is listed

    Device/platform : Windows

    Browser/app : Unknown

Session activity : Unusual activity detected

To my knowledge the only app that I am sign into on my account is the MS Feedback hub. Could it be this?

Should I be worried about malware infecting my laptop and that is the cause?
